After years of hard work, we launched the books Daniel and Revelation at the largest gathering of the Seventh-day Adventist Church during the General Conference Session in St. Louis. It was incredibly exciting to see the printed books for the first time, and even better to hear that by Thursday all the copies had already been sold. Thank you, Safeliz!
It was a wonderful celebration. I finally got to meet in person several people I had only seen through video calls during the development of the Revelation and Daniel books. One of them was Rickson Nobre, the production coordinator at Safeliz, whose great humor is truly unforgettable. I also met Pastor Martineli, who was the director of Safeliz at the time—one of the most remarkable people I know and the one who opened the doors for the creation of the Daniel and Revelation books.
Besides the Safeliz team, I also had the chance to reconnect with friends from other projects I’ve been involved in, like SCORE, a project developed for the Publishing Department of the General Conference. I met up with Marisa Ferreira, my partner on this and many other projects, the Argentinian editor Claudia Blath, the SCORE team leader Michael Eckert, who was the Assistant Publishing Director at the time, and Pastor Marroni, who was the Publishing Director then.
It was truly amazing to hang out with such kind and inspiring people.
